Tightline Tackle is a small business that started in 1996 out of a desire to provide an abundance of jigs to support a personal fishing habit.  In 1997 a descision was made to start making lures that were Environmentally Friendly, this involved moving away from Lead and using Tin and Bismuth that are both non-toxic to wildlife. It was also decided to move away from solvent based paints to ultra durable Powder Paints that would make it Safer to manufacture.  Through the years several more models of jigs and lures were added, today there are more than 10 styles of Jigs, 4 types of Spinners along with Fishing Weight that are produced.

Species ranging from Large and Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Rainbow Trout, Whitefish along with the many species of Panfish have been effectively caught in Lakes, Rivers and Reseviors in Canada and the United States.  Give Tightline Tackle's Quality made, Lead-Free lures a try.  They work and are gentle on the Environment.
